While United Arab Emirates citizens do not need a visa to visit Malaysia, all expatriate nationals must get a Malaysia e-visa before entering the country.
If you are a business person who makes many trips to Malaysia each year, you have the option of applying for either a single-entry visa or a multiple-entry visa.
A single-entry visa is valid for thirty days and can be used for short business stays to participate in conferences and meetings. The validity period begins when the visa is issued and lasts three months.
If you intend to remain in Malaysia for a longer period, apply for a visa allowing multiple entries into the country. The multiple entrance visa, valid for one year, allows you to enter and leave the country unlimited times until the visa's validity period is up. You can stay in the country for thirty days each time you enter. You have the option to request a 30-day extension on your visa.
